Maranello Sales were delighted to welcome three new Apprentice
Technicians to their workshop this week, so we sat down with them to get to
know them a bit better. We learnt five new facts and covered everything from
what led them to becoming an apprentice, to their choice of hot
beverage!
What are you most looking forward to during your apprenticeship?
Brayden: The thing I am looking forward to most is learning
and working on some of the best machinery on the planet.
Alex: I am most looking forward to becoming a fully qualified
technician as well as gaining knowledge on diagnosing and repairing vehicles
which I’ll continue to develop.
Joe: I am looking forward to exciting opportunities working
on a variety of luxury cars and being guided by a very knowledgeable
technician. I am also excited at the prospect of being able to help at the UK Ferrari Challenge events too!
What made
you decide to become an apprentice technician?
Brayden: I’ve always had a passion for cars and wanted to
learn more about the ways that vehicles operate.
Alex: My goal has always been to work within the motor
industry, and an apprenticeship seemed the perfect path due to the level of
on-the-job training it offers, which suits the way I learn and develop.
Joe: I’ve had a passion for cars since a young age, which
when coupled with working on my own motorbikes has kick-started my mechanical
knowledge.
What’s your
favourite Ferrari?
Brayden: It would have to be the Ferrari F40!
Alex: My favourite is the Ferrari 812 Competizione.
Joe: Ferrari 812 Competizione A; ultimate V12 roof down
glory!
What do you
enjoy doing in your free time?
Brayden: I enjoy spending time with friends and family, going
on long walks or cycling and playing sports.
Alex: When I’m not at work I’m usually either spending time
with my friends and family, getting stuck into a new TV series or playing a
game.
Joe: You’ll usually find me riding my trials motorcycle (Gas
Gas 300), competing in British and European Championships!
Are you a
tea or coffee person?
Brayden: Tea!
Alex: I’d say I’m predominantly a tea person.
Joe: Definitely tea! Can’t stand the taste of coffee!
